Job was to convert an outdoor shed into an office. Job was started 9/2023 and originally "finished" Feb 2024, but there were leaks and cracks in the walls that appeared within a couple weeks. Upon notifying him of leaks in March, the issues weren't "fixed" until June 2024, 3 mos later. I've been working in the office for about a month now and noticed more issues again: cracks in the drywall, tape seams lifting, and tape rippling caused by the tape not being pressed flush and securely to the drywall. As much as I want a partial refund to have the job done correctly by another contractor, I'm confident I wouldn't see a dime from Bill, so I feel my only option is to keep having him come back to fix the issues until they are done correctly. I messaged him yesterday to let him know the dry wall is cracking and the seams are lifting, but he hasn't responded. Personally, I prefer him not to be at my house ever again, but I don't know what options I have. Please advise.

Customer just notified me yesterday of these concerns. I will not be going back at anytime to repair anymore on this project. I did not build the structure, I just added to what was existing, which is what the client wanted. Granted it could have been done in a little more timely manner,  I have been back multiple times to take care of whatever the client needed and the last time I was there she was satisfied with everything that was done.

**** isn't being truthful.  The issues happening now are the same issues he came back to "fix" once, previously...unless he's counting the number of days it took him to complete as "multiple times".  The SAME cracks in the wall are occurring again that he supposedly fixed.  He installed the interior walls, they were not existing.  Also, he told me that I didn't need a new roof after his pre-work inspection(despite my concerns about it sagging and already leaking), so when leaking occurred immediately following the original "completion" I got a second opinion about the roof and had it completely redone by another company.  Mainly because, when I asked **** at Honu about the roof leaking after he told me it didn't need to be replaced, he suggested I hire someone to simply re-shingle the roof over the existing soggy/leaking shingles.  This didn't seem like a smart, long-term fix.  When **** finally came back to fix the leaking window (his new install) and cracking in walls, he dried everything out for a few days before making repairs.  To this date there have been no more leaks, but the walls are cracking that he installed.  I want this fixed once and for all.  What steps can I take to put his license on hold until my office is completed properly?

Job "completed" in Nov paid in full, $15k. Leaking began within 14 days from a window installed by contractor. Notified. Sill removed and dehumidifier left to run 24/7 to "identify" where leak was originating from. No flashing was used above installed window or door. Also, honu told me a new roof wasn't needed, but it has since been replaced since damaging the drywall with leaks. I paid another party $2200 for this svc, because i refuse to give another dime to honu. It's now February and nothing has been fixed or completed. **** said they would be back to repair damages and correctly fix window. Pictures sent when requested, but there has been no response from honu.

I was instructed to reach out to you, so we could re-open my complaint. Though the contractor seemed eager to get their mistakes fixed correctly back in March, it's now the end of May and the repairs still need to be done.  I have borrowed a trailer from a family friend to empty out the office, at HCH's request...he told me he would start on 5/20 and all he has done is come to look at what he needs to repair. Nothing has been started regarding repairs.  The trailer needs to be empty and returned on 6/3 and though I have communicated this to the builder, he has yet to show up and begin repairs as he claimed he would do.
