Wonderful people, very attentive to my 10-year-old daughter who had never been on a horse before. They checked up on everyone continuously during the ride, making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe.We had a great time and will definitely do it again.

I recently went on a 2-hour expert beach ride with three friends. We are all experienced riders familiar with proper tack and horse behavior. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by significant safety issues. I was provided with faulty equipment, and despite requesting longer reins, none were available. Everything was fine at a walk, but as soon as we began to gallop, my right stirrup fell off. After repeatedly calling for *** to stop, she eventually did. Her assistant retrieved and reattached the stirrup, but this happened two more times with both stirrups falling off during gallops. The horse I was riding was unresponsive to the bit and kept trying to pass the leader, ***, which we were instructed not to do. *** later admitted that the bit was not correct for my horse. During the last gallop, after the stirrup came off again, I struggled to control the horse and fell, injuring my shoulder and neck. ************** nor her assistant came to check on me; *** went after the horse, and the assistant remained on his horse.Later, *** asked if I was okay but showed little genuine concern. She switched her saddle for mine and acknowledged to a member of my party that the saddle leather was old and stretched, which caused the stirrups to come off. When we requested a refund, *** dismissed our concerns by saying accidents happen. While accidents do occur, a stirrup falling off three times is a clear sign of negligence, not just bad luck. She refused to provide a refund, demonstrating a lack of responsibility for the safety issues and putting riders at risk.As an experienced rider, I am deeply concerned about the safety standards and business ethics at ***** Beach and Trail Rides. Potential customers should be aware of these issues before booking a ride. My experience suggests that safety and equipment maintenance are not prioritized, which is critical for any riding establishment.

My group of four advanced women riders had a horrible experience with ***. She does not deserve a one star rating. *** and her helper, *******, spent the entire beach ride in front of our group talking to each other and paying little to no attention to what was happening behind them. Her four dogs ran wild around us on the beach and were not under voice control. When another woman who was on the beach with her dog yelled at her for violating beach leash laws, *** yelled back that her dogs were service dogs (a joke!) and the rules didn't apply to them. One of our riders had a stirrup fall off her saddle while loping on the beach. She yelled for the "leaders" to stop, but it took about 10 seconds before they heard her and turned around. After "fixing" the stirrup we started out again, only to have the OTHER stirrup fall off! At that point *** said, "If that happens again I'll switch saddles with you." The THIRD time the stirrup fell off, our friend was unable to keep her balance and fell off the horse while it was loping. She injured her shoulder and had bruises on her arm and face. She was able to get back on her horse after switching saddles, and we walked the rest of the ride. *** never showed concern for the injured rider, and kept asking if we were having fun! At the end of the ride I told *** that she should refund the injured rider's money, but all she offered her was a free one hour ride in the future!!! I would NEVER give this woman my business again. She provides faulty equipment, doesn't pay attention to her riders, and refuses to make amends when something goes drastically wrong. *** is a very young woman (23) who has no concept of running a proper business. I fear that someday she will have a serious accident or death on her hands.
