    Took 6 months to do my roof, told me it would be 2-4 WEEKS. 6 months I was told I was next on the list. 3 different times they told me I was scheduled. Never showed up, never called. Finally came during a storm, left the tarp off of my roof for 7 days. I left 2 phone msgs and sent 3 emails begging them to tarp my roof. No response. Told them my stuff was being ruined. NO RESPONSE. My taxes are mush, clothes are mildewed, pictures etc.We slept with water hitting our face at night. It traumatized my 3 and 7 year olds. Gave me a surprise new contract the day they showed up. ***** said they couldn't do the whole roof and could do it later but if I wanted it done I needed to sign. ***** told me it took so long because they needed a dome (they never used one) and needed 10 days of no rain. They had the summer to do it. They charged me for gutters and then their employee admitted the roof doesn't take gutters then ***** told him to charge me for the spouts (I paid roughly $1400) and they wanted to use that for 2 spouts. Even their employee had a hard time with that. A month later Rich Rayburn called me. He interrupted constantly, yelled at me. took pot shots. and said my complaints were small and stupid. Then he lied and said I told his roofer I couldn't afford to pay for the rot to be removed. If I told the roofer why did they keep doing the roof? It was A LOT more than the original estimate which was for the whole roof being done. He said my stuff could not have been ruined but couldn't answer why I sent numerous unanswered emails and calls during that time saying my house was flooded. He said they put the membrane on after 1 day. Did they spend days removing rot or was the rot so minimal it only took one day to remove and a membrane was put on after 1 day? ****, admitted I have rot left on my roof. **** can't keep track of all of his lies and constantly contradicts himself. I want my money back. ALL OF IT,

    I received your letter regarding this complaint. I am not seeking help with resolution with this customer. I have contacted an attorney regarding the customer and will be moving forward with his advice. This customer is refusing to pay the balance of her contract. She is now has made it her mission to slander us hoping to avoid paying her balance. She has personally and aggressively insulted us and our family members. She has moved beyond being able to have a civil discussion.

    I am rejecting this response because: The owners are liars who called me stupid and other names when I tried to let him know the many problems I had with his company. He admitted over the phone he put ****** over rotten wood and did not complete the job. He also had me sign a new contract the day they arrived, finally after 6 months and stating they were not going to complete the job as originally agreed on yet they charged me more then the original estimate.  They ruined my belongings and did not responding to my many emails asking them to tarp my roof because they left it exposed during a rain storm when they wore working on it.

    Customer will not be getting a refund.  We cannot remove roofing off of her house now.  As I said before we will be working with our attorney on this and do not want to work with BBB for a resolution.

    I am rejecting this response because: It is is unacceptable  and poor business to leave  a customer with  a leak  and rot on their roof. It is  also unacceptable to verbally  abuse a customer  and do  a bate  and switch contract with them the last minute. These  are known business practices for Rayburn Roofing  and they have had many complaints with the *** from other customers.
