    We contacted All City Glass of ********* to come out to replace our old windows end of June 2024 (in total we were hoping to have 13 windows and a screen door replaced).July 5th 2024, the owner came out to measure and give us an estimate. We agreed to move forward, and he would contact me for next steps on how to put down a deposit, but he would order the windows in the meantime. He guaranteed a two-week turnaround. At the end of July, we had not heard back from the company and so I called, and they asked to come back out and remeasure as they had lost our measurements. On 8/5/24, the owner came back out and re-measured and this time took our deposit check (see proof attached). Again we were told a two week turnaround. By the end of august we had not received our windows or even a date to install. My husband and I called multiple times throughout August, September, October and now November with no word on our windows. We have also stopped in person to acquire proof of him ordering windows and he cannot provide proof and at one point walked out of his office and left in his pickup. We at this point would like our deposit back as we have not received our goods and it's been months. And again we cant even get proof he has ordered them. Anytime we call or stop in person we receive excuses such as his secretary is sick and didn't order the windows. He has no money in his business account so he can't reimburse us. We have tried all we can to get our windows, but at this point, we don't trust him to order the windows let alone install correctly and would like our money back. I can't dispute it with my bank because we used a check. My husband and I have tried all we can personally to get our money back. We do not want to move forward with the company. We simply want our deposit back.

    Hello,

     

    My name is ******* ******* and I have an ongoing complaint case with All City Glass. 

     

    Today, we finally received a refund from the company and so wanted to let you know the case can be closed. 

     

    I want to thank you tremendously for opening a case and helping us to resolve this issue. I dont think we would have got our money back without the BBB continuing to also contact the company. My husband and I are thankful for your help. Its a Christmas miracle we actually got our money back.
