    **** ******* is the General Contractor with whom we are working with. We purchased a manufactured home through Len's Home Sales in ********, OR with the promise that they would provide all services including the property preparation, delivery of the home, installation of all appliances, and utility connections. **** was well aware of the time constraint that we had in moving from out of state and promised a move in date at or close to August 31st, which is when our lease in **************** was up. ****** communication is severely lacking and we continue to this day to chase him down for updates. We reserved a hotel for the first week of September just in case of delays and **** assured us that the home would be ready for move in within that first week. we are still not moved in and we have had to make several motel and ****** reservations with a child, a dog, and a cat. We initiate follow *** with **** every day to find that he is not aware of who is working on the property or who didn't show up. He finds out these details from us as we are monitoring the work hoping for our home to be ready. We are now three weeks past the date that **** promised us and still not able to move in. My daughter has started school and we are dangerously low on funds due to the continuing need to find a new place to move into while **** sits in his office not doing his job. We have done much of the legwork that should be done by **** such as contacting contractors to show up for work on the property and find that many of the city workers and crew know **** to conduct his job poorly. We will be seeking legal action for compensation for the amount of money that we have lost due to his poor work ethic and lack of knowledge.
