    Coquille Automotive has worked on the air conditioning in my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 three times, costing me almost $2100, and not only does it not work anymore, they have charged me for more work despite their work being under warranty.

    Good Afternoon this is *********************** of Coquille Automotive LLC responding to ************************* complaint. Let me start off by saying this is unfortunate that ********************** would think that we here at Coquille Automotive would not want to honor our warranty we offer. I have always tried to work with our customers to resolve any issues sometimes even after the basic warranty is up.


    ********************** first came to us in August of 2019. ********************** asked us to install his own Ac compressor on his 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 which we did. ********************* was also informed that there is no warranty on customer supplied parts as stated on our work order. After installing the /Ac compressor and charging the system up we tested the system to verify the correct operation of the ac system. We didn't see ********************* until late December of 2021 for a noise in the engine which turned out to be a faulty Ac compressor that ********************** had supplied. ********************** returned in January of 2022 for us to install a new compressor, acumulator, and an orifice tube plus flush the remaining system to remove any metal shavings inside the Ac system. I asked ********************* to return in two weeks for a recheck for leaks as we always do when replacing parts.


    ********************* returned in November 0f 2022 because he stated the Ac would stop cooling. One of our Techs inspected his heating and Ac system and found the o****** tube was blocked and causing the system to freeze up. We replaced the orifice tube and recharged the system at no charge to **********************. While we had ************************** truck he asked us to flush his radiator's cooling system and install new coolant which we did while his truck was here at our shop.


    ********************* returned at the end of May 2023 again stating his Ac system would work for a short time then stop cooling. Again my tech found a restricted o****** tube freezing up. we  again warrantied the o****** tube recharging the Ac system then rechecking to make sure proper operation of the Ac system. Again no charge to **********************.
    ********************* returned to our shop in july of 2023 because his Ac system had stopped working all together. My tech checked the Ac system for leaks and found the Evaporator core was leaking causing the system to be low on freon. ********************** authorized the repair of the evaporator core and  the replacement of the heater core.
    We replaced the evaporator core and the heater core charged the Ac system and filled it with coolant. ********************* asked us while his truck was at our shop if we could install accessory gauges on his A pillar and wire in the gauges to his truck. ********************* came in again for us to recheck the Ac system. We had found that his evaporator core temp sensor was not working correctly and not shutting off he Ac compressor causing the lines to freeze. ********************* came and picked up his truck and I have not seen it since. I did not hear anything from ********************* until May 31, 2024 when he came in to the shop and discussed suing in small claims court. My business partner ********************* asked him to let us look at it to resolve the problem and scheduled ********************** on June 6,2024 which ************** did not show up to his appointment.I called ************************* phone approximately a week after the missed appointment and left a message for him to call so we could resolve this issue.


    It is not our intent to not honor our warranty or try to take care of our customers here at ********************. I am willing to work with ********************* to resolve this issue. 
    but i dont feel he is entitled to a full refund
