    On ***************,(my birthday)I went to Kiefer Nissan of Corvallis to possibly purchase a 2014 ***** Civic from salesman ****** **********. I took a test drive and the car drove fine. I noticed a strong smell of cigarettes and a large tear on the drivers seat. It was touted to be in excellent condition...I decided to purchase it despite the tear and smell. On or about Feb *******, the car had to be towed home. The alternator went out. I had it replaced, but it's still making a weird grinding noise. ****** had called me the day before because the car was damaged by the severe windstorm, so it was going in the shop. Friday I spoke to him via text, and was wanting to get into a more reliable vehicle cause I feel like I got sold a lemon car. He hasn't responded other than to ask if the alternator breaking was caused by the storm damage! Lol, no. I have sent an email to *** ****** the *** and to ****** to find out if we can do anything. I have been getting ignored. I realize I am not the only customer, but they're saying they're excellent and all,but are not holding up Customer satisfaction! I did not sign a warranty. I did sign up for gap insurance. The damages have accumulated almost $4800 in the car, I can't drive it for a few more weeks, but am not looking forward to driving it and breaking down. I know they are not responsible for the storm damage. But the engine and other components should have been tested prior to selling it on their lot. I am seeking either the return of my previous vehicle or some other resolution.
