  This organization was terribly unprofessional when it comes to working as a direct support professional. I say this not as a parent with a child, but as someone who applied to work with them. Attempting to actually work for this organization was miserable in the sense that after trying to pair with parents and their kids after three working interviews in a week despite struggling to make it happen when the parents decline their immediate action was not trying to touch base and help an employee improve but to separate in a industry known to be woefully understaffed. I possess education and training for running such organizations and this runs against all recommended practices. I would not recommend anyone to work here.

  I got hired to work for this company as a DSP, however I never was able to work in the field. I spent many hours doing trainings and multiple times attempting to upload those trainings--When I was struggling with this, I reached out to ask for assistance-- most times the reply was~ see previous emails concerning this subject. When I asked for further clarification one email said, this is a known issue. I had done this type of work before for two other companies and so completing the trainings should have been a simple process. This company provides care for people with life challenges "special needs"-- their communication and assistance with technology issues was less than satisfactory. The time I spent attempting to upload the trainings was a LOT and my one and only paycheck was for zero dollars~ simply because although I had completed the trainings and had proof-- I was unable to upload the trainings. I feel their technology issues caused me to miss out on payment for tasks completed.
