    The business made false advertising claims(Advertised in front of their business and possibly signs on the 9th street) that only $1 was to be put down for a month long trial for Black card membership and only after that will there be ***** charges.Instead,they treated it as a full membership signup and charged me four days later which bounced then and was finally charged yesterday along with a 10 dollar late fee.The business is refusing to offer me an explanation and will not refund.I checked the trial agreement and it doesnt mention me allowing them to have permission to charge me ***** on Sept 17 by me signing it.Reported this to the bank who says it is ********* that i cancelled the so called trial,only time will tell if they will charge me next week too.

    June 2022 - graduate school, moved away from ********* - was informed I could just go to other planet fitness when I moved Jan/Feb 2023 - went to current planet fitness in *********** and asked they cancel my membership - they scanned my membership ID barcode on my phone and told me they would take care of it Jan 2024 - checked my yearly financial statements and saw planet fitness was still charging me monthly and a year annual fee - called *********** location and they told me I had to cancel in person with my home gym the original gym I had opened my account with in ********* and gave me no other information to cancel my membership - called the ********* location and told them I no longer lived there, I was then given information I wasnt given before that I could write a letter to cancel my subscription as long as I included the personal information they needed (name/email/phone number)- I wrote and mailed this letter at the end of January beginning of February 2024 I mentioned in my letter that unless this was resolved, and I was refunded for services I havent used I would contact the BBB - I checked my February statement and saw I was charged again - I called the ********* location again, and was told over the phone that even when they receive letters to cancel it doesn't always get done - I was told a manager would contact me and I haven't heard from anyone
