      I made reservations through Priceline on 09/01 for Comfort Inn and suites in ***********, ** for the dates of Saturday. 9/03 to Monday 9/05/2023 . After paying for the rooms I got my itinerary and saw that instead of ***********, i was booked into Hermiston and for the dates of Friday 09/02 to Sunday 09/04. Not 10 minutes passed between paying and cancelling. That is even I learned of the 24hr cancelling fee policy. I reached out to Priceline, learned that they went through booking.com. I let booking.com know what had happened then immediately called comfort inn, Hermiston. I explained to the clerk what had happened and she said I had to deal with it through booking.com. So i called them and found that the cancellation policy was Comfort Inn's policy and they had sent of an email requesting the cancellation fee be waved explaining the situation. After hearing nothing back from comfort inn, I called the following day, talked to the clerk and she said she sees the email from myself and booking but it was her managers decision on whether or not to wave the fee. Later that day i saw $165 taken out of my bank account, leaving me unable to afford the stay in *********** which cost me visiting with my 4 year old son. Still I have heard nothing from Comfort Inn and when i left a review on booking.Com, they rejected my review because I never stayed at the Comfort Inn. Feels like i kind of got scammed. I've saved the emails of the whole ordeal as well.

      This is not the correct hotel for this complaint this is directed at our property in Creswell, OR.  We did reach out to the hermiston property.  The rate plan was non cancellable prepaid but the manager has said he will refund the amount.  We will unfontunely lose the fees to booking.com in this instance. There version of the story isnt accurate to what we recieved but we would like to take care of the guest in this instance.  Thank you.  The refund should be seen in **** days.

      Ive been working in hermiston oregon and staying at comfort inn for about a month and a half. the hotel accused me of smoking because they found cigarette butts in garbage,i cleaned my pockets out ..but was not smoking in the hotel,id be crazy to do that ,my company rents the room for me, it would cost me my job, so every week the motel asks for a credit card for deposit, comfort inn charged my credit card 600 dollars and would love a refund and appology for it

      We reviewed ******************* stay information and the General Manager and head of house keeping both confirmed a smell of smoking in the room as well as the cigarette butts mentioned in his complaint.  We have a no smoking policy in our hotel and it is part of check in registration to acknowledge that policy.  The room was deemed to have been smoked in.  Our general manager did reach out to to *************** and explain to him the charges prior to being posted.  *************** threated to "kick his ass" and made defamatory and disrespectful comments to the General Manager.  We are adamant our charges are just in this case and would prefer *************** find a different property to stay at in the future as his treatment of our staff was not acceptable.
