    I contracted with ********************* (****** Pavers) on 8/6/21 to replace my concrete driveway and walkway and lay pavers in the back yard. Following numerous excuses, he finally began removing the old concrete on 8/13/21 and in the process damaged existing concrete. He refused to lay gravel for half of the driveway and none of the walkway which led to cracking and significant crazing. The walkway has very little slope and in one place actually drains towards the house. Also, there is a one-foot diameter puddle in the middle of one of the slabs. Following numerous calls/texts and a threat to file a *** complaint, he finally came and inspected the mess. He agreed to repair the walkway and damaged concrete but would not guarantee his work so nothing was done.I paid my $50 and filed a complaint with the *** which proved useless when the mediator knew nothing about concrete. Now I am faced with the cost of small claims court or a civil court lawsuit. Further and as in prior reviews, ****** asked for another $650 after pouring the concrete due to poor math. Upon receipt of the final bill the $650 increased to $1,000. I agreed to the $650 in hopes he would repair the damaged concrete, stand behind his substandard work and help move some steps. I again attempted to settle this with ****** on 11/10/22 and he never responded.
