      We purchased a Maytag washer from ***********************. It was to be delivered and installed and the old unit was to be hauled away on August 9, 2022. ***** had surgery on his foot which he told us about. He told us the delivery could be done by someone else if his company was not able to do it because of his surgery. He told us the delivery, installation and haul off fee would be $65.00 due at delivery. ***** did not arrange for delivery of our washer. Or at the price he quoted and included on our invoice. He is now failing to meet his agreement for delivery at $65.00 and expects us to get another delivery arrangement at a much higher price. He instructed us to get our own delivery or get a refund. This is unacceptable. He has been paid for the appliance and we expect him to follow through on his obligations.

      The misunderstanding with ****************** came from the delivery price. We had told her "our" price, but if we couldn't deliver it before surgery, another company could do it, and we had no idea what they would charge her. We have made arrangements to get this washer to ****************** on Friday,  August 19,2022 at noon for the $65.00 delivery fee. I am going to attempt to call ****************** at the number you've listed on this complaint and verify this with her. IF she is unable to receive delivery on Friday, we will not be able to deliver it to her until **************** is able to return to work after surgery, which he was told today would be around thefirst week of September if he continues to recover well.
