I told the employee that I wanted scratch protection, but not the Crizal due to it causing scratches. My glasses started getting scratched within a short time. I was out of the country for about a month and called upon my return. The male I talked to said he saw where no scratch protection was applied to my glasses and he would have the manager contact me. I never heard back. I want a full refund for the poor job that was done on my eyeglasses and the poor customer service.

The patient had requested NOT to have Crizal anti-reflective coating applied to her lenses, but wanted scratch protection. Our Crizal is our scratch protection so we put her in a more scratch resistant lens without the coating. When her lenses scratched she requested a refund which was fulfilled 8/9/22 when the patient came in. She was given a full refund, but refused to return the glasses when asked for them.

I am rejecting this response because:  I previously had another optician put a scratch resistant coating on my previous pair of glasses and they never scratched.  Crizal has caused problems with my previous glasses, so that is why my last two pair have not had this process.  Focal Point evidently did not use a proper scratch resistant coating.  When I called about the problem, I was told someone would call me back and they never did.  I did not refuse to return my glasses.  I asked if I could keep them because I could not see without them (even though I had to look through scratches).   I asked why couldn't I keep them as they would be of no use to anyone else.  I was allowed to keep the glasses.  So, Focal Point is trying to make me look like I am being difficult.  They are the ones being difficult.
    Sincerely,
