We hired ******* to come do the electrical work necessary to put in our hot tub. He seemed trustworthy and knowledgeable so on October 27, 2024 we Venmoed him the supply amount requested which was $600. Then on November 4th we sent another $450 through Venmo for the labor. After ******* finished the initial install of the electrical line under the house on November 4th, he disappeared. His phone went off-line, we never got our promised invoice, and he didn't show up to finish the job as we had agreed upon. It gets worse, way worse. We had a friend, who has apprenticed as an electrician, come over to look at the work. Turns out none of it was done correctly, let alone to code. None of it. It was the incorrect gage and number of wire pulled under the house. The wire installed under the house was patched together in a way that is completely against code and unsafe. There was no neutral, it was cut. The electrical box outdoor that was installed was of the incorrect size and had the wrong amperage and amount of breakers installed. We had given him the schematics upon his request assuming he knew what he was doing. We found out later that he not only didn't know what he was doing but he should not have been working inside our main breaker box or be installing another outdoor breaker box without a license. He should not have taken on the job. We were scammed. Virtually everything he did was completely unusable and unsafe. The entire project had to be redone. We have called, texted and emailed him a couple times kindly asking for a refund, to no response. He has his ad back up on ********** ****** with a new phone number. Being scammed like this feels so bad. We would like a full refund
