    Date: **** 12,2024 I am being threatened after hiring this company to mow and edge my lawn. They decided to also cut back trees, bushes, ****** and caused them damage. I did not request that to happen. The owner later said no monies were required after showing him proof of the damage. Now he is threatening me with a lien against my house. I want him to stop harassing me. Also, no quote for price was ever given even though I requested one. I do not believe I should pay this amount after damage and threats. And I have emails showing him saying no money required they will do better and now threats.

    I called ***** in late June about thatching my lawn. I found him on line and the reviews seemed good. He came out and gave me a quote. We agreed the work would take place July 26. On July 21 I emailed him and told him I wanted to change the scope of the work to a smaller area and that I would not be able to be there due to my husband having surgery. The next day I emailed again and said I needed to cancel the job do to changed circumstances. Unfortunately I had paid him $575 as a deposit and put it on my credit card. He did not respond to any of my emails. On Sunday the 23rd of July I called him and asked for a cancellation and refund. He said he would give me a credit and claimed he had bought the materials (dirt, fertilizer and seed) already. Today I texted him making it clear I wanted a refund. He refused and offered a credit. I called him, asked again, told him if he didn’t refund me I would dispute the charge with my credit card company and not give him a good review. He then threatened to dump a load of dirt on my front yard “so I would have to call someone to remove it”. I asked him to not threaten me and behave professionally. He continued to threaten me. When I asked for receipts for the materials he said he didn’t have to provide them. All in all very upsetting

    By the way the address provided is my own because the business doesn’t have one. The owners name is *****. I believe I was scammed
