On February 7th 2024 I submitted a claim with **** about water damage to my travel trailer. I was instructed to find a repair shop around me that would take care of the problem. That's when I went to Oregon RV Outlet. They accepted my trailer and my claim and said it may take a bit to get to me but they will. That's was in March of 2024. My insurance adjuster set the initial estimate at $8400. I understand it was a bit much but we were coving our bases. When Oregon RV Outlet got the estimate they freaked out and said this is way too much for the repairs and damages we can't work with this. It's at this point where everything froze and I had to call every week for an update and their response was always the same. It's too high if an estimate we can't work on it. I told them how insurance works, they ***** the damage and submit their estimates, it's at this point where everyone starts blaming everyone else. The techs haven't done the estimate yet, or we submitted it but haven't heard back from ****. It's super easy to adjust things online and they would have gotten paid what every they said would be the damage. It is now November and Oregon RV Outlets has informed me that there was water damage aside from the slide debris causing an issue, the water pump connection had busted and that's where most of the water came from. There is carpet damage and mold and the door jam to the bathroom is all lopsided and the door won't close. All of these things were ignored and ommited from the report that they sent back to ****. **** with that misleading information had closed my claim stating the damage was caused solely by the slide debris damage and little leaks that came with is. The person of contact at Oregon RV Outlets is ***. And she won't take my called anymore. They still have my trailer held hostage. I'm at a loss, I need help getting my trailer back please, without it costing my and arm and a leg. Thank you!!!

We inspected the trailer when arrived.  Water damage was due to customer failing to maintain keeping debris off of the slide out allowing water to come inside.  Customer stated that the insurance company gave an estimate of $8,000 for repairs.  We asked the customer to provide us with  a copy of that estimate as the damage was caused from customer neglect. Insurance companies do not pay for damages that are customer neglect..  Aside from that our visual appraisal was not  any where close to the amount of what were told insurance company said.  We never received  a break down from the insurance estimate.  We told customer that we wouldn't start work without insurance approval.  We were also told by the customer that the trailer had been sitting in a field with slide open not connected to any sort of power.  The trailer had not been winterized causing the water pump and or lines to freeze allowing what ever water was in the trailer to flood.  We certainly did not hold her trailer hostage.  She was told on several occasions to come pick up as we again do not have any monies from customer nor insurance.  The customer did not keep us up to date on insurance status.  We called her as felt we had become a free storage lot.  This customer does not live in our area and had a relative drop off and pick up this trailer which was here locally.  We would have gladly completed repairs if customer had completed our request.  This looked like a case of insurance fraud.

Attached are some pictures of how I found my trailer, when I received it from the repair place.

You can also tell that there were repairs made underneath the sink in the bathroom. (Picture not included , I didn't take a picture of under the sink before I got sick) All of this is consistent with what they had told me at the very beginning that there was a water line that busted and caused water damage in the inside of my trailer as it ran down from the underneath of the sink in the bathroom through underneath the carpet in the slide out.

I'm not sure if I let you know that I did get my trailer back with broken parts and a missing awning tube. My water heater doesn't work because they removed the anode from the water heater tank and left it in there. Because that certainly wasn't me, I didn't even know it existed until I googled lensed it. That picture was sent already but I will send it again.

I am also attaching all of the original pictures taken for the claim. That way you all can see the extent of the interior damage and that there is no corresponding damages to outside area.
