    This business is such a scam! They made their site look like the *** site, and I fell for it! They charged me $249 for an EIN. It should have been free! I am so mad at myself for not researching them.

    My son opened a new business. We received a mail with his new Business Name that contained link (https://getmyein.org/) for EIN. We believed it as government mail and typed the Link and put all information and selected 24 hours rush EIN for $169. We didn't received EIN for few days, thus, my son searched online and found that EIN is free through IRS. The sad part is this company now has our personal information. I don't know how this company is allowed to operate, thus, government should take actions to protect their citizen by taking steps to close any loopholes this company is using to scam the innocent people. Most fraud are done using IRS/Government related things , thus, increase penalty for companies that fraudulently present themselves as government entity.

    Looks legit until you get to the part where they ask for $295.Hope they don't use our private information that I entered thinking it was the *** site for evil.

    This is a scam and I have no idea how to get my money back now that they charged me $250 for a FREE thing that you can do on the *** website. How is this legal? why no one has done anything about it??? I'm pissed!!

    I got my EIN and have a screenshot with their link on it that says it costs $0. I'm guessing it was a glitch because a few minutes later after I got my email that they charged me $279, and I refreshed the website, it was suddenly $279. I called and emailed and attached the screenshot and they said I was lying and that was never on their website and then some "lady" said well then I am stupid for putting my card information in. I'm disputing this with my bank and I'm also reporting them to ftc

    I had the same experience and now I am worried about my personal information and that the *** that was provided via email is not legit. I have to wait 4 weeks to know if the *** is legitimate.In terms of personal information, it sucks!! they have everything. I have placed fraud alerts with all credit bureaus. It is all that I can do. Here are links for the major bureaus in case anyone would like to do the same. It freezes your credit and also alerts businesses and you if someone tries to use your SSN.
