    I pre paid to be a model for eyebrow tattoos. Two times I had to cancel my appointment due to broken ribs and covid . The beauty school also had to cancel the last appt that was scheduled due to no show with one of there students who would have been doing my tattoo. I tried to reschedule and around Sept 19th I tried making appt for the first week of October and I eventually received text on Oct 5 th from the business owner stating they would not be able to reschedule me but would however refund me my $150 I paid upfront for services. I immediately let the owner no that I was a victim of data breach and due to the breach I became victim to extreme identity theft and that my bank account was closed and so was my bank card I paid with originally. I then sent them documents showing proof of everything letting them no they would have to refund me another way. They informed me via text that unless I used original card they can't refund me. Called my bank to ask for advice on the situation and told them what I was being told by the business owner us bank told me yes a merchant can refund me it just has to be in another form aka paper, check, cash , or give them a new card number, they advised me again to send account closing documents again showing proof to owner so I did. I then called back the beauty school and texted several times as well and they said yet again it has to be original card number and that it's not possible for them to refund another way . Since then been texting them and calling them off and on now with zero response at all . I would just like my promised $150 back like the owner texted would happen. A closed bank accounts due to identity theft should not result in me loosing $150 dollars at all and the beauty school should find another way to pay me . I suggested they contact their financial institution and let them no the scenario so that their bank could inform them of how to refund me as well. But I'm now being ignored .

    Complaint has been resolved. I kept contacting business and once you sent them the complaint they agreed to pay me money owed of $150.00
