      On Monday, August 6, 2024. I received a telephone call from an insurance agent telling me that I was eligible for this program because I am a nurse. Americo has hired some rogue criminal insurance agents to make calls to sell false insurance policies to nurses. They have teamed up with the state association of nurses and Us health, life, and retirement to scam nurses out of money monthly for life insurance with a death benefit of $76,00 i was told, but its really $17,00. With two payments withdrawn from your account one for ********************** and another charge for the state association. They never sent me the documents so I kept calling to get them and the state kept calling me to congratulate me on approval and to tell me of the two deductions coming up. When I was requesting paperwork and a certificate of insurance they kept stalling me until, I finally spoke to a honest representative at Americo who was sending the documents and then told me the policy was for death benefit other than the amount the agents were selling. Once I was made aware that I was scammed . I asked her to cancel it and make sure I dont have any deductions from my account, I called state association benefits department for US health, life, and retirement and told them that I am aware of the scam and they continue to hang up on me I just want to make sure they are aware I do not want any part of this and not to make any deductions from my account because I have canceled the policy. After all that nurses went through for the country during Covid 19 this is the thanks we get to be scammed and bamboozled by criminal insurance agents and companies. I intend to bring lawsuits against thee companies if my personal information is stolen and misused by these criminal agents. And I want to be assured that the insurance is cancelled and no deductions will be made from my account, if I do not receive reassurance and I have to close my bank accounts and deal with the hassle of that I will seek restitution.
