Being post stoke patient, I had few treatments my acupuncturist moved to new location, After treatment at new place, new equipment, table, I fell off hurting myself . I said I was ok but following appointment Office Manager comes out demanding I have bring someone or I cant continue. I like being independent and I ************** Manager cancelled all my appointments w out telling me. Im thinking shes afraid Im gonna sue. Im very upset w her attitude and handling. I feel its discrimination against handicapped. Instead helping, treating, wellness?? Isnt that potential lawsuit for discrimination?

Unfortunately our providers and staff at our facility are not trained or equipped to perform patient transfers. Having staff perform patient transfers that they are not trained for is a safety risk for not only the patient but the staff as well. If a patient is not able to get themselves safely transferred to and from the treatment table we do require the patient bring someone who is capable of assisting with this transfer. Our office manager informed the patient that this was our clinics policy and that we wouldnt be able to continue to treat him at our clinic without this extra assistance as our staff is not trained to do these transfers. The patient was informed this would mean canceling his one future appointment that had been scheduled. The patient was offered the opportunity and ability to speak with the owners which the patient declined. We apologize that our clinic is not able to safely meet your needs at this time.

You forgot about when I said it was ok and would like treatment but you refused? I ne complained but you were afraid and very rude. I wasnt complaining about acupuncturist. Or even owner. It was office managers attitude, way she conduct her business, rudeness towards patients seeking help. Arent you supposed to be provider? You called that healthcare service? Wellness? How about rudeness. Opportunity to make money? And protect ourselves. U r joke and shouldnt b in that kino business. Where is kindness?
