      I brought my 2012 Lexus RX 350 in for an exterior detail on February 15, 2022. The company used a chemical on the glass that permanently etched/damaged the glass on the front passenger window. They also used steel wool on the glass leaving tiny scratches in the glass. I've taken it into a couple of shops and was told the glass is permanently damaged. The only remedy is a factory replacement. I had been talking with *********************** at U.B.A.D's Canyon location. He told me he was working with glass shops to see if he could get discounted pricing since he can get a discount. I told him I wanted *****************, not aftermarket. He then stopped talking with me even though he acknowledged responsibility. It's been months now. That said, here's what I'm looking for:Manufacturer's/OEM Replacement of Front Passenger Window - current pricing is: $805 (includes parts, labor, and tint) but please note this price is changing quickly due to inflation. If he resolves the matter, I'd be fine with just replacing the front passenger window. If not, I'll pursue the damage to the windshield as well.

      To give you a little background our company is based on Integrity and is family 
      owned. Our policy is to treat our customers like family, therefore if for some reason a 
      customer has an issue we are determined to make it right. Now many of our customers know this and have been loyal to us for over 15+ years. We strive on word of mouth and our rating on yelp can verify this (4 stars) . 

      Now *********************** is no stranger to us and has used our services in the past 
      knowing we can exceed her expectations of how we work. ***************** came to our 
      location on February 15, 2022; asked us to Exterior Detail her Lexus and explain that 
      she just bought it used (the vehicle was dirty). The Lexus was returned to her the same day, she was excited it was clean and even paid for the detail after looking at it. Mrs. 
      ****** drove the vehicle off the ***** lot. 

      Roughly a month later she called us, telling us that there's something wrong with the driver side window. We explained to her we cleaned only (using window/car safe 
      products); that the damage was probably existing (couldn't see the cause of the dirt and the weather outside was forecast) and it seemed weird that only one window was 
      damaged. We explain to her to come back in so we can see more clearly what she is 
      talking about. ***************** came in, we looked at the vehicle and explained to her that we are not at fault. Again we stress that the vehicle was dirty. She might have bought it like this; explain to her that our job is cleaning. Letting her know that sometimes when a car is so dirty it's hard to see existing damages. Our manager did try to help her to remove some of the stain off the driver side window at no charge. 

      Unfortunately none of it came off (again please note we ONLY use products that are window/car safe), ***************** looked at the vehicle and thanked the manager for his help. She then drove off. Shortly after she contacted us again letting us know that we need to give her all her money back for exterior detail and fix her window. In this we tried to work with her offering to fix the window (even though we are not at fault) but she was determined to take it to the dealership herself and demanded we give her a check. We have several emails demanding a check and threatenind (us to court.etc.) us if we did not do so. At a certain point we decided to let her fall through on her threat; knowing we are unable to make her happy and her unwilling to cooperate with us.
