    I quit as a preschool teacher at Kidz Academy today July 5th, 2023 and no I am not a disgruntled employee. The kids safety and well being are number one to me. I have been in contact with the proper authorities for the past few weeks. Here are a few of the many reasons why I quit: The preschool teacher neglected to contact CPS as a mandatary reporter and she said because she did not want to be and I quote a snitch. This same teacher trips the children if they are running inside, she calls one of the children fat and tells them they eat too much. That same child she cursed out and used multiple curse words towards and about them. She also mimics the children if they come to her with a concern, she treats all kids terribly aside from 2 that are her favorite. I brought this up to old and new management (both management parties are still running this center) and nothing has been done. New management state they will be implementing great things for this center but failed to take the first step in bettering this facility and decided to keep this teacher on board. I had multiple conversations with both management parties, giving them the ultimatum of her or I. It is clear to me, that the children and their safety are not a priority here. And that is the reason why I walked out today.
