The business Cyclebar Tanasbourne is still attempting to collect money from me for a cancelled membership. The establishment, despite cancelling my membership and closing out my account in the system, is trying to collect an additional membership fee for the month of July, despite the account being closed.I have been in touch with both the manager and the owner - neither of whom are able to provide a consistent answer on how best to proceed. Manager stated I could close my account without payment - Owner claims I cannot cancel out without paying for an additional membership fee ($79). I recently went to the location in person, and further confirmed that there were no additional charges due on my behalf - however I continue to receive emails, texts, and calls requesting payment. Based on reviews I am not the first person to experience these circumstances, and unfortunately, I fear filing a BBB complaint is the only way to find a resolution to this issue.

I cancelled my account over a month ago and got a notification today that someone used a ride in my name on my account that should have been closed. I have not been to a class since March of this year. This is fraud. I have not left the house today. I called cycle bar to resolve and have not heard back.

Hi there, it looks like this was for a Barre to (Pure Barre to CYCLEBAR event) It was most likely an honest mistake and the wrong name was selected when booking someone in class, but not fraud. I will have someone call you today to connect with you.

    l. I completed the form to cancel my membership with *** on 3/28/2022 after taking class with *** that evening at 5:30PM. March 29th was my last authorized payment to my cyclebar membership. April and May charges were collected without my consent,I txt the business on 4/28 inquiring about the charge. Then I called the business on 4/29 spoke to a front desk person who checked with the manager that they were processing my refund. I left it at that until I got charged again in May. Now they tell me they dont know why my cancellation form isnt on file. So I provided them the letter attached. ** recalls me coming in to cancel but cannot refund me because of access to some system. Spoke to the ** last on June 1. I have called an email and have not heard from them since. Two months were collected without my consent I already disputed one charge with my credit card company but now they are trying to collect that one month with late fee. I havent disputed the other one yet from April because I really do wish the business would resolve it so I wouldnt have to be harassed by calls and emails there are multiple reviews online with similar experiences like this.
