    My husband and I Purchased a 2010 ********** Jetta from the owner of El Buddys Auto on Aug. 11th 2023.Upon purchase the owner told us the title was at his bank and would be mailed to us within 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed and no title. I then begun texting and asking. On Tuesday, September 19th it was already over a month. Never got the title to register the vehicle or get our plates. The owner and I talked on the phone to which he offered us a trade for a vehicle that he had the title to but wasnt ready yet we agreed with him telling us the vehicle would be ready Saturday September 23rd. He insisted that we bring the originally purchased vehicle (********** Jetta) back to his shop to be returned to the auction. To which I disagreed I was in need of a vehicle to commute. The owner then suggested providing our family with a rental until the trade in vehicle was ready. The trade vehicle was supposed to be ready Saturday, we gave him until Sunday and the vehicle still wasnt ready. He explain to me that it would not be ready until Tuesday the following week to which I agreed to pick up Wednesday, after talking with my husband we both decided we wanted our money back. After approaching the owner he explained to us that he wouldnt have our refund until he sold a vehicle and he said that it would be done within 10 days. This agreement to have our refund within 10 days was made on Tuesday September 26th. I sent the owner a message on Saturday September 30th explaining that we would take legal action if we werent refunded that following Friday. The owner even spoke to my mother in law promising that we would receive our refund by Friday October 6th. October 6th is here and he is still claiming not to have our refund. We have been dealing with this dealership for 2 months going on 3 and we have yet to receive anything we have been promised. Wed like to take legal action and would need help.     This issue is not resolved. The company has yet to pay me the remaining amount of the $500 and the car that I received in exchange Im not able to drive. The battery is bad and dies almost immediately and the wheel bearing is in horrible condition. Mind you I was told that the car was in great driving condition and had no mechanical issues. Upon the exchange I even asked for a 60 day warranty to which he said no and offered me 30 days, a promise which has not been fulfilled. He has accused my family of harassment even though the only times we contacted him was for what is owed to us. Hes been very rude and unprofessional.
