    I am so disappointed to have to leave this negative review. I was so excited to have my oak dining table and sofa table refinished by PNW Creative Designs, LLC from the original honey oak stain we applied to it over 50 years ago, to a dark walnut color. The color was beautiful. We were told we could use the table normally after 24 hours. It was so oily that it was difficult to carry, and we dropped it on the stairs causing a small ding on the edge of the table. We placed it on tarps in the dining room and did not use it for 2-3 weeks due to the oiliness causing a mottled appearance and a couple drip **** areas. After 2-3 weeks waiting for it to dry fully, I buffed the table with a clean, dry, soft, cloth with no improvement. I took pictures of the tabletop and texted PNW. Their texted response was Its looking like that heat didnt let the lacquer cure well. The only thing I could possibly do would be to use a different clear finish. I responded Hmmm, Im thinking the top needs to be sanded and redone. I would hate to have a coat of lacquer covering this mottled look. To which they replied, We would take that lacquer off before we did a different clear coat. We left on vacation the next day for 2 weeks, then I had bilateral hand surgery the week we returned and had both hands in bulky dressings for 2 more weeks. Today I texted to schedule a time to bring the table in to be redone and the response was I am sorry but it is past the warranty date so we cannot honor the touch *** for free I was never advised of, nor did I ever receive a warranty policy. Their texts became accusatory, rude, and ended with them advising me to contact their attorney for any further correspondence, but they refused to provide their attorney's contact information.Poor quality work, their lack of customer service to get it done to our satisfaction, their mystery warranty and their rudeness all have compelled me to write this unfavorable review.
