    We scheduled a river shuttle with Owyhee River Runners for April 18 of this year from ****, OR to Birch Creek and paid $200. We canceled the ************** 3 days prior to launching. I used their new web site and paid the shuttle cost via PayPal. After canceling received an email on 5/6/23 from "Owyhee River Shuttles <****************************>" with appropriate and correct detail. It also included *************************** cell phone and ***************************************************************** with whom Id been in conversation with about booking the shuttle. After an initial email and phone exchange *** directed me to communicate with ******* (his wife) to resolve the refund. When I began communicating with ******* in May things seemed ok, but stated they canceled their payment processing with Stripe and Strip was not releasing funds. I was in communication with her monthly from May through September, but she always had a reason/excuse for why a refund could not be provided and they needed more time. e.g.,"They canceled their Stripe account and Stripe would not release the funds;" There were so many cancelations in April due to high water and couldn't afford all the refunds until money was released;" "Stripe is delaying money release and being very difficult;" etc.Finally on Sept. 3 the funds were supposedly released, and ******* stated she'd send the money via Venmo if that worked. I indicated that was acceptable and texted a screen shot of my Venmo account, so shed know the proper account. But that didn't occur as she said it would, and when asked (via text) 4 days later she claimed she and *** have Covid, we're really sick, and had to quarantine 9 more days. I replied: that gives you plenty of time to transfer the money via Venmo. She then replied that their Venmo account wasn't connected to the bank, they hadnt received their bank card yet, and more excuses. I called her out on this as BS and now neither this ******* nor *** answer their cell or respond to text messages.
