      I paid ***** "****" ******* $500 on November 7th using Venmo for a puppy in the *************** litter. Java was due very soon (within days on the website). But then **** emailed me on November 11th about how Java was actually not pregnant, to her surprise. I emailed her back that I wanted a refund and she refused. I told her how we had not negotiated the terms of a false pregnancy so I should be able to get a refund, but she continued to keep my money and then tried to get me to buy a puppy that was much more expensive, much older, and completely different in every way from the type of doodle I said I wanted. My only option was to use the $500 towards the next litter, so I continued to work with **** on getting a puppy similar to the one I was hoping for. **** tried to get me to sign contracts and ***** her $2200 before I even got to see the puppies in the new litter. I told her that I would not give her any more money until I actually saw puppies. Plus, the contract would require that I pay her a daily dog-sitting fee if I didn't pick up the puppy on the day that she picked out for me. I wouldn't even be sure that I wanted a puppy until I met them, so paying her a dog sitting fee to hold onto a puppy that I wasn't sure I was going to adopt made no sense to me. Since I refused to give her more money she said to let her know when I was ready again to join another litter.

      It is unfortunate that you are not happy with our puppy reservation policy. It is also unusual that you failed to pick up your puppy that was reserved for you from the next litter on March 23rd. The agreed policy, that you accepted reads:

      We do require a non-refundable fee of $500 to reserve a puppy. Puppies are not considered SOLD until we have received your deposit. If a life changing event happens and you are no longer able to bring home a puppy after you have paid in full (after 7 weeks of age)we will refund half the total purchase price OR you can choose to put the payment towards a puppy in a future litter (within 1 yr). 

      You still have time during 2024 to select your pup.
