      We ordered 3 custom replacement vinyl windows in May 2023. We were told it would be about 3 months before windows would arrive. We were told by contractor that the first shipment had a broken window and was reordered. The second shipment also had a broken window. Finally the third shipment arrived and windows were installed on October 25,2023. On 12/ 5/23, a rainy day, the contractor came to clean up marks on interior sash and noticed water in the interior slider trough and on the edge where window meets the sash above the trough and condensation between the panes. This was noted on all 3 windows. He took photos and contacted ****-wen customer service. On 12/8/***********************, local customer service rep, came to inspect **********************. He noted that the sides of the ************** were not tight up against each other on all windows. After several contacts, ***********************************, customer service rep for ************************, replied that it was normal to have condensation due to relative humidity and weather conditions when the temperature from inside and outside are different . She also stated this was not a manufacturing error. We did not agree with this reply. After further request, an additional inspection was made by 2 service techs from Gold Crown Construction, a third party repair service for Jeld-wen. They stated that drains in window troughs were not draining properly and the seals around glass were not properly made. They were going to order parts to repair windows, which should arrive by February 2. On 2/21/2024, our contractor contacted ********, they stated parts were to be shipped to Gold Crown. On 3/13/2024, we received e-mail scheduling repair for 3/20/2024. Repair techs arrived (not the previous *******) without parts. The parts that were to be shipped could not be located in their warehouse. The techs were instructed by their supervisor to re-assess and re-measure the windows. They wrote a report, took photos. After $6000.00 we want our windows properly made ASAP!

      I purchased custom Jeld-Wen doors (8 of them) on 9/19/2021 as soon i got the doors I paint them, and here is the problem begins, Acctualy I couldn't understand what is going on, after we paint them, the water damage accrue on the doors, And i went back to *********** was trying to explain what happened to them, since it was national backorders at the time, but i need them, right away decided to fix them my self, CAN'T wait another **** weeks for them to arrive.So after a 1.5-year same issues start coming back on some of the doors, and now Jeld wen, trying to find all excuses just to not cover the faulty product.First, they ask me to send all pictures, Damages, etc. After sending all pictures, they were trying to blame me i didn't paint them, next email was something else. and now they just denied the claim.

      I purchased a custom steel Jeld-Wen door via **********...we placed the order on March 10, 2022 and the door wasn't installed until July 9, 2022. In between the time of ordering to installation, ********** had received three (3) doors due to the Jeld Wen sending the wrong door and shortly after having the door installed, we received a lot of rain here in ******** and noticed water spots on the door, tried to wipe them off, but they were permanent water stains. Immediately I contacted ********** and they informed us ******** would follow up and requested I submitted photos of the door. Upon sending the photos, I was informed that "Condensation is a natural phenomenon that happens when the formation of water or frost appears on the surface, long story short, per our limited manufacturer's warranty, condensation is not considered a manufacturing defect covered by the warranty." I spent $2,500.00 for a door that is permanently stained and it's only been installed for over a month and this is unacceptable, take my money and sell me a faulty product.
