    I had a hard drive that went bad and called Beaver State Computer Service to see if he could save any information on the hard drive, as all my personal information and other important information is on this hard drive. I gave the hard drive to him the first week of May 2022, just before my surgery on May 9, 2022. The agreement was to pay when he completed the job. He committed to do the best he could to redeem information from the hard drive depending on the damage it had incurred. It is now December 8, 2023, and I have yet to receive my hard drive. I have made several attempts to contact him, and he is either out of town or will look at it when he gets back. Or it is just running and running (whatever that means) and hasn't transferred all the information and he will let me know, but he never does call me back, I have had to call him. I have asked repeatedly for the hard drive as I have desperately needed information on it and have asked as early as September 2022, and still no head way to receiving my hard drive. In October/early November 2023 I had spoken to him, and he said that he would have done in a week, and it look promising. He didn't call me back. The week of Thanksgiving I either called him or text messaged him, we talked on the phone, and he said he would look at it when he got back as he was out of town, and he had a funeral the first of the following week. He didn't call. I contacted him on December 6, 2023, he said that the machine is running, and he is doing all he can. Well, it has been 20 months, and I still don't have my hard drive back. He has foregone the payment. But I desperately need information on my hard drive, i.e., my resume information and journaling for the book I am writing. It has been long enough, too long. I just want my hard drive. Yes, I have been crying because I need the information.
