    We stayed at this motel on October *******. I needed to get to a quite dark place as I was experiencing a migraine. We went to this hotel because it was advertised on the internet it had been newly remodeled. NOT TRUE. The room was in deplorable condition. The bathroom had black mold and the shower head was brown and moldy. We found medication on the floor. The heater went behind the bed and the headboard was HOT. We had no choice but to stay because of my headache. We had our service animals and they wouldn't even walk on the floor. Outside was covered in trash. I had to put our dogs in the car and take them elsewhere to go potty. Under the stairs where the luggage cart is kept, had cobwebs from lack of cleaning. All of this was told to the manger on duty and she rolled her eyes at us and was very **** in her response to us. We were told that she could only refund me ***** because we chose to stay. We didn't have a choice due to my health. The general manager called on October 29th and was very unhelpful. She manages 4 motels in LaGrande and was not any more helpful than her manager. This motel needs to be closed down due to health concerns. In the world of Covid, this place is beyond nasty. We have reported them to the ******************************. Between that and this complaint hopefully something will be done about this motel.

    The La Grande Inn in ** Grande, OR ************************************************************* BED BUGS, STAINS ON Sheets, spiders and unassembled fire alarm!!! There was mold in the bathroom and spiderwebs on walls. I have pictures and videos. Unfortunately we are not the only ones complaining about the cleanliness of this hotel as many reviews point to the same issues. This place is a health hazard and needs to be shut down. ***** the manager on 9/2/22 hung up on me AND then had the audacity to tell me the black bugs were cotton!!! I will be reporting this place to the health department and the fire department.
