    I had a motel reservation for Friday September 16th, 2022. I checked in at approximately 8:00 PM. The door is outside not in a corridor. The deadbolt would not latch and there was no chain lock. My companion and I each tried to push and pull on the door while turning the deadbolt lever in an attempt to latch it. It would not engage. I reported to the desk clerk ***. There were no other rooms available. She indicated that she would add our room number to the list of three other rooms that had inoperable deadbolts. She said all the doors had been replaced two months previously and all had been working until settling occurred rendering some deadbolts unusable. My companion and I are both female and we did not feel safe without the deadbolt. It did not seem to us that it would take significant force to open the door when we were trying to push on it to engage the deadbolt. I requested a refund of $161.00 to my credit card as it was paid on line prior to the trip. She called her boss and her boss refused a refund. No other solution or compromise was offered. No receipt was available according to *** because I reserved on line through Priceline.

As a company, were committed to delivering a great experience with every stay with us.
