I had contacted ***** regarding a rental she is the property manager for. She sent me a link to the application, I filled it out and submitted it. A week went by and no word. I text and emailed. Finally ***** said she had sent out another email stating not to put in an application as someone else did right before mine. This email was never received, I checked every folder. I text again asking if the tenant finally paid move in, because ***** had explained that were waiting for payment. No response. I waited another week and requested an answer or my money back. Still nothing. This morning I text stating I was going to file a complaint with the housing authority and BBB. An hour later I received a denial letter stating something about my credit. There's nothing wrong with my credit. ***** is doing this to cover up her scam. I have attached the texts with time stamps and the email with it's time stamp. I want my money back and for people to be aware of her scam.

    Hello,

On the pre-screen application ****** claimed that her income was $2,143.00. We require that you make 3 times the amount in rent. When she did her application and back ground check the only income that she verified was $943.00. I asked her to upload her other source of income and she never did. This was the reason that she was not approved.

Please let me know if there is anything else that I need to do.

    Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:

***** could have verified my income with my employer *************************** and that information was provided.

Again, she could have called, text or email. She did none. I text multiple times and was never gotten back to about it. First it was she sent an email that never came about not putting in the application. Then a phone call to explain the same and that someone else had put in an app but hadnt paid then i text and text again with NO response. I did not get a denial until after I filed complaint.

I was introduced to ***** thru *************************** at my place of employment *************. The income could have easily been verified if ***** had contacted myself or ******* but she did not. Again this is just another excuse to avoid being caught in a scam. Communication is key! I was never given any.

    Sincerely,

    ***********************

    Good Morning,

As I stated above ****** was asked to verify her income in the application process. She did not do that. I have showed the proof of the income that she did verify. It is her responsibility to verify that not mine. All she needed to do was take a picture of her pay stub and upload it along with the *** that she verified.

Thank you and have a great day!

    Kayla
