Completely appalled by this place. When we arrived the front desk woman was not friendly and frankly kind of rude. Our room had a dirty tub which I cleaned before using. But I should have stripped the sheets after finding a couple dirt spots on my pillow. But the kicker was waking up and finding blood at the foot of the bed on the top sheet. After searching each other over we realized it was not our blood and the investigation unfolded. What we found was disgusting. When I calmly addressed it with the front desk I did not receive an apology and was basically put off, Im assuming with the hope ** let it go. But this was too gross. After my many attempts to contact the owner, *******************, I was lied to by the employees there, who said I would receive a call which never came. When I called for the last time the rude receptionist I blamed me for the bodily fluid and it was not us. We had no cuts or scratches. Finding blood in the bed after sleeping in it was disgusting. The maid clearly did not change the bedding or even look at it. Its even on the curtain. Not to mention all the other stains found after pulling up the sheeturine, possibly ***** stain, and who knows what the others are buy washed bed bug spot stains! Yuck! They issued me a partial credit back on my card but I never asked for a refund and only wanted the issue to be addressed and honestly an apology. A conversation with the owner would have been nice, I feared the employees run the show and dont inform the owner when things like this happen. But Im guessing Im not the first to have a bad experience with this place. And its been two weeks since this horrific stay Im guessing i never will get a call from the owner. Im not asking for anything and only want others to know, check the bed sheets, protectors and under the protectors before sleeping here.

Before addressing any of the points in this review, we strongly urge any guest staying in any hotel to immediately contact the front desk if you feel you are unsatisfied with the room you are staying in. This is especially important when you first check into a room. There is not much that hotel staff can do when complaints are brought up during or after checking out of the room, as **************** did. You do not need to stay in a room, use a tub, and/or sleep in a bed you feel is unclean, nor do you need to or should feel obligated to clean your hotel room before using it. Any hotel will gladly have housekeeping staff re-clean the room, or simply move you to another cleaned room.As per standard hotel cleaning procedures, all bedding is removed from checked out rooms and cleaned. This includes linens, covers, and comforters. They are disinfected by being washed at a high temperature and with bleach. We have continually verified with the **** and OHA that our laundry practices meet industry and state standards. As for the dirt spots, these are markings from a permanent marker for quick identification by housekeeping and laundry staff. The blood spots were indeed blood but were fresh and still red, instead of appearing dark or brown as old blood stains do. Any bedding that has irremovable stains is discarded by laundry staff. The mattress cover, though cleaned, was indeed stained and was intended to be discarded instead of re-used. The refund for half of the amount for the stay was to compensate for this. We have re-visited housekeeping and laundry procedures and standards with our staff. As for **************** and her partner, their attitudes and responses were anything but calm after they checked out. Both of them repeatedly verbally assaulted our staff with vulgarities and insults over the phone. **************** first asked for a refund when front desk staff accompanied her to the room to examine the bedding. There were several threats from the couple if she did not receive the rest of the amount charged for the stay, including reporting us to various agencies for nonexistent infractions and supposed legal action. In an attempt to further intimidate us, **************** reported us to local county health inspection. A health inspector later examined the room and found no violations.**************** review here on BBB is another attempt to bully us into refunding her entire stay via libel. We have already compromised and returned half of the stay, yet **************** continues to dog us with exaggerated and false claims.***To BBB staff, please remove the owners name from the review as they were not involved with the incident. Please remove this request from the review response when it is posted and the owners name has been removed. Thank you.***
