On 2/13/2025 I brought my car (2015 non-modified ******* ******) in for a simple alignment. After the alignment work was completed, while lowering the vehicle the driver's side of the lift (drive up/ramp style) was not lowering equal to that of the passenger side causing the car to lean/list. The technician raised the lift back up and again attempted to lower it. The vehicle was now level and nearly lowered however there was a sharp angle. To help mitigate this the technician ( and a young man who was identified as his younger brother) placed 2 2x6 boards and 1 2x4 was placed on each side of the ramp in an attempt to decrease the departure angle. While backing, the 2x4 boards flipped up wedging into the undercarriage. I grimaced as I watched this unfold. The car was pulled forward. The boards readjusted then again the car was backed up. A few days later while doing a service on my vehicle I noticed that both sides of my undercarriage were damaged, showing perfect 2x4 wide divot marks bending the metal undercarriage several inches. I called the business in an attempt to resolve the issue. I spoke with the individual who did the work. He remembers the incident however denied any wrong-doing or causing damage to the car. Stating they work on much lower cars without issue. I don't deny that, I believe the lift was not working properly causing the sharp departure angle which led to the damage. The car would have hit the lift if not for the boards. Unfortunately, the boards flipped up causing the damage. The individual I spoke with cited financial troubles and that he could do nothing about my claim and again denied that he damaged my car.

Hello, ******* *******. When we spoke on the phone about your complaint, we had given you the option for in-store credit for any future services done here at our shop. We do much more, than just alignments. However, you did not accept this option. Therefore, unfortunately due to financial troubles, we do not have the ability to give back a refund per your request. Furthermore, we did not cause any damage to your vehicle. We do have a camera in the corner of the shop that we have already reviewed, showing the boards did not come up as you say they did. I would also like to add, your appointment was on February 13th and you called back 6 days later, on February 19th, acknowledging that you had just got under your car, when you state in your complaint that you had noticed it at the same time of the incident. Most people would check their vehicle at the time of the incident if any thoughts of this happening occurred. Instead, you called back 6 days later trying to blame us for the damage that was already done to your car from a previous accident, as it also showed on the alignment machine. As mentioned already, we can go ahead and give you an in-store credit for any future services you would like to have done. Thank you and God bless!
