    The owner, ***********************, took my kitchen cabinets above the refrigerator and the doors above the microwave away to modify them so the new refrigerator and microwave would fit on 7/27/2021. After repeated contact, many without him responding, I still dont have my cabinets back. The last several times *** asked him to return the cabinets in whatever state they in completion to which *** had no response. The few times I have made contact, he states that the cabinets are with some other place getting work done. Im finding that hard to believe at this point. Ive been beyond patient, its almost been a year which is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Please help me to get the cabinets returned so I can have a reputable party complete the work. Contractor *************************** ************ referred me to ****** and has helped to try to resolve this issue. **** has suggested I now contact the BBB.

    Thank you for notifying me of this complaint and giving me the opportunity to give my side of the story.

     

    I would like to start by apologizing to my customer. I can empathize with her frustration regarding the time it has taken for me to return  her cabinets back to her.

    As I recall the conversation, I had told my customer that I had the cabinets in storage and was working on them in-between scheduled customers. This took some time since  I was having to make some alterations to the cabinets.  Once the cabinets had been completed enough for me to reinstall them, I reached out to the customer and left her message to call and schedule a day and  time for me to install the cabinets, in which I did not receive a response back from the customer.  In this time period I had not received any calls or messages from the customer. Two weeks before I had received the letter from the BBB, I had a conversation with *************************** in which **** had asked me to reach out to the customer. I explained that I had left her a message awhile ago for her to get back to me. I asked **** if he could provide me with her contact information as I had to get a new phone and in updating my contact list, I lost some of my customers info.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Ive made several attempts to request and even implore ****** to just return the cabinets in whatever stage of completion that they were. The last actual conversation I had with ****** was on or around 12/18/2021, at which time he stated the alterations had been completed but they were at another shop being stained/varnished and he would contact me when they were completed. He never contacted me again, nor did he respond to even further attempts by me to request him to just return my cabinets, the latest phone calls being 7/8/2022 and 7/15/2022.  Additionally, per Matts recommendation, I texted ****** on 7/18/2022, again requesting ****** to return the cabinets and again, received no response. ******************* response to BBB still hasnt included a willingness or proposal of when the cabinets will be returned.

    The doors are being rebuilt again..I did not like what they looked like  ..I had ***************** rebuild them I will have the doors and the cabinet dripped off as soon as I get them ..I was told 2 weeks to make them ..customer will have them by the end of the month
