      Asante did not accurately bill my GEHA insurance, as GEHA reports they did not mail the claim to the correct address and did not use accurate billing coding for Prevention. I requested multiple times for Asante to rebill, however, they refused stating that **** needed to REMAIL them an explanation of benefits. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to pay Asante due to lingering threats of going to collections and their inability to properly bill my insurance for preventative care that is 100% covered. Asante was inconsistent with telling me that I had to pay this because it was my deductible, however, no preventative care is ever applied to a deductible or no patient would ever consistently obtain mammograms/colonoscopies/lab work etc. Please properly bill my insurance provider and refund my payment in full.

      I went to the ** in *********** Asante. Checked in with my Military/VA ID card. I was to be seen for a broken or dislocated ring finger. As I waited, approximately 1.5 hours, the ** filled to capacity with injuries greater than mine. I decided not to stay and checked out with the orderly that was sitting at a desk at the entry doors to tge **. After that day, the Veterans Admin was able to get me into *******************/*************** Orthopedics here in ***********. Asante send me a bill for more than *******. Stating radiology and ** charges. I called Asante, I was told I'm supposed to get authorization from the VA prior to the ** visit. That is untrue. I was never xrayed, nor seen by any physician, nurse or doctor. I view this as Asante attempting to defraud an ******** 100% Disable Veteran. Asante knows this due to having a copy of my VA ID.
