    On February 10th 2024 I purchased a flywheel weight from Steahly Offroad for my 2023 Husqvarna FX350. I paid $169.95 for the item and installed it per the company's written instructions that came with the part. After riding my motorcycle for about 4 hours, the flywheel weight became loose and started making noise in my engine. I discovered that the epoxy used to bond the weight to the flywheel had almost completely come off and dissolved. When I contacted the owner of the company, he immediately stated that I must have done something wrong and the only thing he was willing to do was fix the part if I paid for shipping and materials. It is my belief that the fault lies with the company's kit they sent me and that I received a bad batch of epoxy for my part. The owner is unwilling to reimburse me for the part or pay freight to fix it and I feel as though this is bad faith upon the part of the business owner. He provided a kit that was did not work as advertised and in fact, may have damaged my motorcycle engine. I will be taking the bike in to the dealer to have it inspected.

    We offered to repair/replace and install the weight for free as well as reimburse his shipping costs with the condition that there is no indication the installation was done incorrectly after we inspected the flywheel and weight.  If there is some indication that it was installed incorrectly we offered to still install it for free and only charge for the replacement parts and shipping at our cost.  We have no indication that this epoxy batch was bad as our records indicate that it was within the expiration date as well as numerous other kits using the same batch have had no issues.

    Customer satisfaction is important to us and we always try to do what is fair and right by our customers.   We hope our ********************** create a more enjoyable riding experience for all level of riders as well as make for an easy installation process.  We will be reviewing our installation instructions for this product to hopefully make it more clear as well as point out any potential issues that can cause a bad installation.
