  I took my 2008 ****** 350z march 3rd, 2023 to get a custom exhaust done (custom 3inch y pipe to a 3inch single exit) I showed the owner ******************* the style of exhaust I wanted off of "**************" he told me he could that same set up for about $300 cheaper than Z1 posted upon picking up my car it sounded significantly quieter than expected when I asked him about it I was told it takes time for the exhaust to "break in". on July 18th, 2023 I lifted my car up to replace my differential while looking underneath the car I noticed my y pipe was still the stock OEM one that comes on the car from factory and they just took some metal and wrapped it around the y pipe to make it look like a "3inch" today July 20th, 2023 I went down asked for receipt and it shows on the receipt that I was charged for the y pipe being done but it was never replaced or done how we talked about when I showed the owner pictures of the y pipe I asked or either a refund or for him to make it right and do the 3inch y pipe he told me there's nothing he can or will do since its been a couple months since the works been done but I haven't been able to notice it wasn't done until a couple days ago when i actually lifted the car up off the ground. The only reason I got my exhaust done by him was because he told me he could the same set up of "**************" for cheaper. the exhaust on "Z1" is closer to $900 and he charged me $490 so I thought I was getting a good deal, not getting scammed and paying for work that I didn't receive. At this point since he's refused to make it right I feel the right solution is for him to buy the exhaust I originally wanted and if he never persuaded me by saying he could replicate the same exhaust for cheaper. I added in the same image I showed the owner you can clearly look that the y pipe in the picture and tell its not the same or close to what I showed him on **************.

      What ******* forgot to mention was this was almost 5 months ago. He came in and asked for a copy of his receipt which I gladly printed for him.and he went off that it wasn't what he wanted, everything on the invoice is on his car.

     I've dealt with miscommunication in the past and always find a solution,

     HOWEVER ITS BEEN ALMOST 5 MONTHS.

     You can't come in after that amount of time and say you want something different.

     The photo he submitted shows the area in question very clearly with out being up on a hoist. there is absolutely no reason to wait almost 5 MONTHS to bring up a issue, He got what he paid for.
