    ************** was competent at the initial exam. He sent off my old progressive lens glasses to the lab; they came back regular bifocals (with a line). I returned, as the glasses werent working for me mainly at the mid-distance laptop and GPS in the car were out of focus and required I bend my head WAY down - dangerous for driving. I said I had expected Id get the same progressive lenses I had when I came to him. He didnt ask me what type of lenses I wanted (which is part of informed consent for a patient) he assumed I wanted the cheaper option. He said I should have known Id be getting what I got due to the price. Im not an ophthalmologist billing expert (are you?). He said neither the lab nor he would cover the cost of redoing the lenses. I decided Im done being jacked around and Im going elsewhere. I wouldnt go back to his office if he were the last eye doctor on the planet. Go ahead and see him, but dont be surprised if you have an experience like mine.
