During the last week of the school year, in June 2024, at *********************** School, my son, Ronin, made a $50 deposit to his lunch account. He gave a $50 bill to *** ******, who works for the school district and collects lunch money from the students. The $50 deposit was never reflected in my son's lunch account. His lunch account is still $50 short.Ronin has asked before for receipts for his lunch account deposits. Unfortunately, the school has always refused to provide receipts. The school district and their nutrition services department have been giving me the runaround. Today, I talked with a woman named **** **** who acted like we were talking about Monopoly money, refused to resolve the matter, suggested my son was not credible, refused to even listen to my suggestion that someone may have stolen or embezzled the money, and overall was rude and condescending to me. This is not the way we treat customers in this country. But more importantly, it does not resolve the problem that my son's lunch account is $50 short.
