1/22 CDL tester failed me when I clearly passed. Company has many complaints online, and a history and reputation of doing similar scams.I want a record so when they do this again hopefully enough people will come forward and they will get shut down.

    Business Response

    To whom it may concern,

Mr. **** was scheduled through a local truck driving school to take the Oregon *** commercial driver license (***) skills test on 1/21/******** test is a standardized test which uses testing criteria mandated by the ********************* of Transportation - ******************************************* which is overseen by Oregon Department of Transportation -Department of Motor Vehicles (***). Transport Wisdom *** is a testing business under contract with the ********** to administer the *** skills test. Our examiners are *** drivers with long histories of safe driving and have been instructors before joining our testing business. ********** has trained, certified and have done regular evaluations of our examiners to evaluate their testing methods and processes. Transport Wisdom also continues to evaluate our employeesskills in testing to ensure our customers are treated fairly and that the standardized test is administered in accordance with State and Federal *******. ****** test was administered correctly and fairly in the eyes of Transport Wisdom and the Oregon ***.

Transport wisdom, ***, has been in business for over 30 years and we have an excellent reputation, built one test at a time. We have had complaints, but to my knowledge (after being an owner for the last 15 years) we have never had a BBB complaint. We always offer to meet our customers and try to come to a mutually beneficial agreement. Unfortunately, Mr. ****** demand for his test scores to be reversed and for Transport Wisdom to do this is fraudulent and unacceptable. This request has been made to Transport Wisdom and to the Oregon Department of Transportation (*** *** 3rd ************************ and rejected. The fact of the matter is Mr. **** has failed the drive test portion of the skills test and he must retake this portion of the test before his Commercial Learners Permit expires on 11/21/2025. The fact is, and this can be substantiated by the **** his test scores are valid and will not be changed.

Mr. ****** recourse following his test was to seek reimbursement for a late cancellation fee he paid out of his pocket on 1/21/2025. Mr. **** was charged this fee because he did not show up to a previous test (1/15/2025).Our policy is to charge for a missed test schedule if we're not notified at least ********************************************* conversations with Mr. **** and his training school, the reason for him not showing up on the 15th was sufficient to warrant a refund and I refunded his using the ****** app. ******* did not pay for his test. The test was paid for by *****************. The test was conducted, and Transport Wisdom was compensated, and no refunds were warranted for this service. Mr. **** also called the *** 3rd Party Programs -*** Policy Unit to lodge a formal complaint against Transport Wisdom. During this complaint an investigation was launched by *** 3rd Party Programs to determine the validity of the complaint and to see if any remedy was warranted by Transport Wisdom to Mr. ****. The ***'s decision was to validate the test and to leave the complaint matter up to Mr. **** and Transport Wisdom to work out.

As the business owner I offered to retest Mr. **** (for the portion of the test still outstanding, the driving portion) at no charge. ******* must provide his own truck and trailer (equivalent to the one he used in his original test) to perform this portion of the test. He will be tested using the standardized methods and will have to pass the test under the scoring system adopted by **********. During this test the *** will be present to observe me as I ******* the test. This is the only recourse ******* has as a choice. The offer is still open and will be until his permit expires. Transport Wisdom is doing this as a courtesy and offers no apology to the applicant as none is warranted. Transport Wisdom, and its associates, have done nothing wrong and have followed all the prescribed methods proctoring this test.

Mr. **** has expressed, by text message, the resolution offered by Transport Wisdom is unacceptable and that he, in his own mind, has "passed" the test and wants us to score it as such. This is not possible, for one, the test is not a self-scored test, and secondly, the *** has certified the test as not passing and must be retaken.

    Respectfully submitted,

    ***** ******* | Owner
    Transport Wisdom, ***

The response from Transport Wisdom does not adequately address my original concern, which is that they appear to be failing students unfairly in order to generate additional revenue from retesting fees. Numerous reviews on their ****** page reflect similar complaints from other individuals.
In my case, I was failed despite having met the necessary requirements. The examiner claimed I had accumulated 47 points in deductions, with 30 being the threshold for failure. However, when I asked for specifics, he mentioned that I had failed to check my mirrors at a railroad crossing. I distinctly recall checking my mirrors as required. This discrepancy strongly suggests an unfair evaluation.
****** is the owner he wasn't even their that day.
Given these circumstances, I believe Transport Wisdom is engaging in unethical practices to take advantage of students financially. I request that the BBB further investigate this matter.
    Sincerely,

    **** Love
