Transaction date - March 24, 2025. Amount over dispute: $300 This business is certainly engaging in predatory and possibly fraudulent practices. Myself and four other friends rented some ***s from them while on a college road trip. The average rental cost for our vehicles was around $100 an hour. They had you sign extensive amount of paperwork, then view a safety video. In the video is was explained you would incur a $50 fine if the *** were to be rolled/flipped over. That was absolutely the impression me and my four friends were under in response to their safety video. Upon my other friend tipping one of the vehicles very slightly on its side in response to the uneven terrain, they charged my friend ****** **** a $300 fee. This is despite him purchasing prior insurance which they disputed would reduce his penalty cost at all. I asked for managment and asked them to produce any material costs associated with the *** roll-over, which they could not do in any regard other than theoretical labor costs of checking the machines internals. We routinley asked them to itemize their costs associated with the fictional damages to the vehicle, so we could pay them if necessary. They refused. Instead, this is a business which misleads customers about fee amounts if incurred, and more generally takes advantage of novice *** riders who will inevitably tip their vehicles over given the lack of experience. The $300 fine was nearly the cost of us all renting the 3 vehicles alone. The blanket fee is 100% a predatory practice used to exploit new customers which they eagerly acquire, knowing they can assault them with a plethora of prior documentation you signed to extort you into paying exorbinant fees. I work for an attorney and have never filed a complaint with the BBB. The practices of this business are disgraceful. I routinely asked the manager if any of these presented as ethical, to which not once she said yes. Please be in contact. Thank you!
