    On 12/14/24 I brought a package into this location for shipping to my son in *********, AK. I was promised this package would arrive before Christmas, and paid almost $80 for this service. Tracking currently shows it will not arrive until 12/31. Why would I pay almost $80 For a small box to arrive 7 days AFTER Christmas. This is beyond acceptable and ridiculous. This business should be ashamed of themselves for charging this kind of abhorrent pricing and then not actually doing what they promised which was deliver it by Christmas. If they would have told me it would not arrive until 12/31, I would have gone somewhere else and they know it. **** would have been much less money and would have actually arrived in time.

    Im very sorry to hear about your frustration regarding the delay with your package. I completely understand your disappointment. Unfortunately, in this instance you were given multiple service options ranging from *** to ****. For this package the least expensive guaranteed service option via *** Next Day Air was $261.03. At The UPS Store we are unable to guarantee any delivery dates for the ****. When we offer the service option,we give the customer the price and expected date of delivery the system ******** this case the package was expected to arrive in 3-5 business days. They went with the least expensive option which has the least amount of priority with ****.
    While we aim to meet delivery,there can be delays due to factors outside of our control, such as high shipping volume, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. That said, we are unable to offer you a refund for this shipment. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and we understand how important it is for packages to arrive on time, particularly during the holidays.
