      July 2024 Chosen Wood Windows inspected our windows and submitted a bid to repair some. We accepted their bid and the work was set for 10/24. in October they reset the work for 1/25. We contacted them that this was not acceptable and asked for our deposit back. They had already ordered materials so were unwilling to return our money. As a concession, they offered to finish paint the windows prior to installation. We accepted and provided the brand and color information for the other windows on our house to be sure the new ones would match. When the windows were installed, they were primed not finished painted. Now when we contacted *** they claimed there was no agreement to finish paint them and in fact said they only finish paint commercial orders. I made phone calls to the company to discuss the misunderstanding, and they were not returned. The company became extremely defensive and claimed they had called. I checked our phone records and found they had called but left no messages, just hung up. We sent them an estimate from our painter to complete the work promised and they question the bid and have been unwilling to accept responsibility for any wrong doing. We would never do business with this company again and urge others to heed our experience.
