I've been a victim of financial fraud. This usurious business outlined a project in June for $50,000 raised the price to $75,000 then $84,000 in July, $93,000 in October, $105k in Nov and was headed towards $120k in December, before I formally fired them in January. Currently they are trying to charge me for work that was never completed or agreed to, though they have had outstanding requests for repairs since October, and are threatening to take me to court. They are thus engaging in price gouging, manipulation, and fraud, also saying that no portion of the $19k that I prepaid to an employee who had told me this was required to get the project started (see evidence and check/Zelle labels) landed at AHS, though that was their only target.I had to hire new labor to complete the project after not having a kitchen for **8 months.** In terms of bathroom issues, I reported both safety and functionality issues in the shower and spaces, also making suggestions about how to address them. AHS has provided many excuses but no repairs. For example, employee ********************* has engaged in verbal hostility, insults, and intimidating displays of anger, asking me to meet after hours -- perhaps so that other customers wouldn't see her behavior -- only to inappropriately and dishonestly raise the price yet again. Owner ***************************** is dating ******, who had never previously managed a renovation project. There have also been major issues with communication/coordination between AHS and their subcontractors. For example *********** Paint did a terrible job, which AHS promised to repair for free but did not.Due to the excessive duration of this project, my children and I have had limited ability to eat well, have a clean/usable living space, and I have endured an excess of psychological distress. I would like them to apply what I have paid to outstanding bills, and would consider suing ******/AHS for damages in triplicate if the fraud continues.
