    My wife and I applied for a rental through this company. Unfortunately we had some time constraints and did not make our appointment to view the rental. They denied our applications, but never ran a credit check or background check. I believe if that money wasn't used to check our rental or credit history, then we should be refunded that money. It was 45 dollars for each of us, so 90 dollars total.

    On 08/13/22, I contacted Mid Valley Properties to set up an appointment to view their property for rent at ***********************************************************. We were told there were no current applicants and that based on our income, we would most likely be approved, subject to passing background and other requirements. I completed and paid for four applications because there would be four adults living in the property. On Tuesday, 08/16/222, all of the applications were submitted after I spoke with **** and she told me to do so because they didn't have any applicants at the time. I paid $180 for all four applications and have received no response from this company. I called several times in an attempt to get an update or at least communicate with her, but she has ignored all of my texts and phone calls. I recently looked into this company and discovered that MANY people have complained about the same thing happening to them. Mid Valley Properties, I believe, is a scamming business that commits fraud by duping people and stealing their money, then never contacting them again.Mid Valley Properties' business license should be revoked because they are causing so much harm to our community. I want a refund for my fees because they pretty much vanished after I paid.

    I am sorry **************** was not able live in the home on Raleigh Ct., however her applications were not received until the 16th and 17th of August.  Unfortunately I received other applications on the 16th. As our policy is to process applications in the order they are received, the applications received prior to **************** were processed and approved before hers.  Once the earlier set of applications were approved and accepted ******************** and her co-applicants application fees were processed for refund on the 24th.  As I stated to ****************, Appfolio who processes the applications fees takes 10 to 15 days to refund the application fee on the credit card used to pay. As stated on the application form, application fees are actually not refundable.  I have attached a copy of the refund requests as they show on Appfolio. I wish **************** and her co-applicants the best on finding a new home in a very difficult rental market.
