I bought hearing aids from this business in August of 2022. He was supposed to submit a claim to MODA insurance to offset a substantial amount of the cost. I found out months later that he had done nothing. I took up the cause. He did provide information when requested in filling out the insurance claim form. The insurance company, MODA, continued to bug me about incomplete information. Each time I responded with the appropriate information. I called **************** there any number of times, always talking with someone different. Finally, in late August of 2023, I found a **************** person who understood what that meant. He found inaccuracies in their claim process and confirmed that what I had coming to me by contractual agreement was indeed the way I believed it to be from the beginning. MODA then paid me their portion of the insurance settlement in October of 2023. They also informed me that the provider, Audiology Northwest, owed me an additional $1530 by contractual agreement with them. They agreed to mobilize their Provider watchdog section to pursue this case. I continued to call **************** on a regular basis. No one was able to get any kind of response from the provider. On November 30, 2023, at the request of MODA, I delivered a copy of my Explanation of Benefits, that clearly showed that the provider still owed me money. Neither party heard from the provider after that date. On February 7 of 2024 I sent a very clear letter by registered mail to the provider reminding him that he was violating his contract with MODA, and that I was prepared to take less polite steps to get my rightful payment. I gave him two weeks to respond. On March 5 I decided to just go to his place of business and confront him in person. I was met with a sign on the door that said "We have gone out of business". I immediately called MODA **************** and explained the situation. They called back later in the day and said, "There's nothing we can do for you". Here I am

I purchased a pair of ************ hearing aids for $5,000 in October of 2020. In July of 2023 I went in for a hearing check. Realizing that my warranty on the aids would expire in October 2023, ********************** recommended I leave them with him so he could send them to Phonak for a check and possible repairs. Four months later I still don't have them and he claims they were lost by ****** or the shipper. The whole process was supposed to take two and a half weeks. He won't provide me with any information about the transaction, and no longer returns calls. His office has initiated contact with me only twice; I have to go into the office to actually speak with someone. The business is not open the full amount of time listed on their website and it appears that they no longer have a receptionist.
