    I placed on order on September 7, 2023 with Roambuilt through their website for 2 pairs of surfboard racks. My credit card was charged $1585.44. I was told delivery would be 6-8 weeks. On December 1, 2023 I reached out to roambuilt to inquire about delivery and received no response. I tried several more times by email to reach the company as well as by phone and was unable to get a response. After reaching a live employee in March of 2024 I was made aware that the company is in financial difficulty and cannot fulfill my order. I have requested my money be returned and it has not. This company essentially stole $1500 dollars from me and continues to operate a live website taking orders and money for products they cannot provide. I would like my money back.

    Roambuilt has accepted money for an in stock product and has yet to deliver the product. Product was purchased on April 21, 2023. The company does not answer request for an update on the status of the order and they do not answer phone calls.

    I processed an online order with Roambuilt on November 22, 2022 totaling $3,630 and was told that order lead time was **** weeks for the purchased product. As of today, I have received none of the purchased product.I have sent in excess of 15 emails to their customer service and owner I have called and left more than 5 voicemails in the past 6 weeks. I am not receiving any communications and now believe their intent is fraudulent in nature.

    In 2020 purchased a new ******** ******** cargo van and had it converted/customized to a camper van. The conversion was done by ******************** and included a component from Roambuilt. Specifically a custom roof rack...the Safari Rack, for a price of $6,200. The rack had a failure (one of the footings fractured in two) I noticed in December of 2022 however it likely happened earlier. I have been in communication with Roambuilt since December, specifically *******************, and have been told repeatedly that it would be fixed. "The footing is being cut" has been a frequent response. He even arranged, supposedly for me to only have to drive to ********** vs. ******** for the fix. All of this has yet to come to fruition. At this point my van has experienced damage due to the rack sagging and hitting the roof after only three short drives subsequent to December. I simply want the rack fixed and would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
