I mailed umpqua a payment check to the right address, and *** showed umpqua have been received it, after one week I called to check why my check didn't got cleared yet? And the answer was that my check got lost. That's so unprofessional and shame on big bank like you to have poor service like that. Now I have to charge twice for mailing the check and you will charge me for the new payoff code and your supervisor I spoked with refused to exempted me from this payment, I can't believe that happened with big bank like Umpqua.

Their mortgage department is unprofessional and hopelessly broken. It started earlier this year when they stopped providing us with a servicer point of contact - were just putting like stock images with broken telephone numbers on our monthly statement. They then made a huge mistake on our mortgage servicing, promised to correct it, DIDN'T correct it, called us when we were overseas telling us that they couldn't correct their mistake and that they were transferring us to ****************. Now we are being serviced by ****************, which is a scammy garbage servicer that racks up huge fines with the federal government. Month 1? They are hit by a cyber security attack. NEVER GET A MORTGAGE WITH UMPQUA. This has been a nightmare.

Terrible customer service. I lost my business credit card on a work trip two weeks ago. I have had to call no less than 10 numbers to close the account, get a replacement, and find out where the card is. There is no way of knowing when my card will get here or how it was sent so I can track it. I tried calling and was sent to multiple representatives, oftentimes not even working for Umpqua. If I could, I would take my business elsewhere, but I'm not in charge of the account. Waste of time.

I opened an account online because it had everything I needed and lots of local branches. Big mistake so I deposit my money in my new account 25 plus 40 only for it to be immediately taken. I went to my local branch for a pin fix on my new debit card I just got. An hour later it says -60 for an expited charge. I had to argue just to get it back. Then they kept repeating errors either over crediting my account or not calculating my balance correctly giving me money. My whole new bank experience was madness litterly. I feel robbed by this bank even though they did correct it. I have had to switch banks in my life several times and never had this much issue with customer service and denial by tellers. Nobody still will admit who ordered me a new debit card on top of my already new debit card.Someone please clean this place up because they do have enough branches to be a better bank.

If you want a bank that takes 1-3 business days to change your email address or 2.5 weeks to close an account that was paid off more than 12 months ago, this is the bank for you. I spent several hours on the phone with customer service, always receiving a different answer and having to call back several times just to close my account. This entire process made us lose a house we put an offer on because the lender needed confirmation that my previous HELOC from Umpqua was paid off over a year ago. The worst customer service, will never recommend them even to my worst enemies. Stay away!

Did an instant Venmo transfer to my checking account, which I do often. Usually takes about 30 seconds to show up in the account. Venmo sent me the usual notification that funds were sent but Umpqua Bank failed to send their notification acknowledging the deposit was completelong story short, my card was declined in the grocery store in front of a line of people. Had to step aside and try to contact service via chat in the app, which said was a 2 minute estimated wait. Ten minutes later I get connected with a rep who asked Are you still there? AS I WAS TYPING yes, she said Due to a lack of response I am disconnecting this chat. So I waited again, still standing awkwardly near the checkout at the grocery store. Ten minutes later the second rep tells me theres a system issue with online banking that is estimated to resolve in one hour. This type of unreliability is unacceptable this day and age. Theres no excuse for their programmers to be rolling out updates in the middle of the day Pacific Time even if they are all in *****.

This bank is terrible!! They bought out my bank that I loved (******* **** of ******** and then Columbia). I have had nothing but problems since the merger. There is rarely anyone local to speak with because you are constantly referred to 800 numbers, especially surrounding online banking and bill pay. I had to get a new bank account number because an existing ******************** customer already my account number. That meant new checks for business and payroll, changing ACH accounts, changing debits directly from my back account and changing bill pay accounts. Since the merger I was not able to access my online banking for nearly a month, there were continuing issues with bill pay (and not being to access it and bouncing checks), a statement that disappeared from my account, my bill pay being frozen and I had to spend hours on the phone trying to get these issues fixed. After one long month, I am done and am moving to another local bank in town.

I opened a new account with them, deposited money, have been using the debit card and ATM for this account for weeks, and suddenly all my transactions are being denied although there is no deficit of funds. There is no way to contact them by phone on weekends and the messages online tell me to go to a local branch. I cannot, as I am at a trade show. This is unacceptable

We have been working with this bank off and on for the last 10 years. They are absolutely horrible. Half the time we go in or call nobody can find our account, they pull payments from the wrong accounts, s**** up loan payments, withdraw money from other bank accounts when repeating my told not to. They are so unorganized and ridiculous. When I recall all the issues weve had it sounds like half the stuff is made up because a single business shouldnt make that many mistakes for ************************************************* business and that we keep giving them a second chance.Do. Not. Bank. With. This. Company!

My mom has dementia she says all kinds of hateful things to me this is a symptom of the disease. Because I did not have the money I did not get power of attorney. My brother's ex-wife daughter who tells everyone she is my mom's granddaughter got power of attorney because there bank manager has no idea what dementia does to a person I am treated by this bank like I was abusive to my mother this is a symptom of the desease. It breaks my heart that these people not even knowing who I am have judged me. I am not allowed any information on my mom's account. My brother died and because my mom and my brother's wife's daughter took all the money out of his account which should have went into the estate I am having to pay all the bills and I can't afford it and the bank manager has treated me like rap.
