Rapid Response is suppose to clean up garbage and debris from homeless camps, not take your personal belongings and go through your belongings and decide what you do or don't need. They are suppose to put everything they take in to property where it's kept for 30 days for you to retrieve. That is not what they are doing. They are stealing your belongings and not putting them in property or inventorying your stuff. They did not put any of my belongings in to property. They took it all to their second hand store and to their own homes. I lost everything and am not able to retrieve it because they didn't put it in property. But yet it took them lots and lots of pictures of my belongings and three days to clear my camp. How can there not be any property to recover? But they left a bunch of actual garbage behind which is the main objective of there job. They destroy the landscape around campsites when they do these sweeps. They destroy the property which they leave you with. And there seems there is nothing we can do about it as the victims. This needs to be monitored and accountability needs to be held for the company's actions. This is not done at this present time. While homeless people are already facing traumatic daily challenges this only furthers the difficulties of overcoming each individuals situations and prolonging healthy mental health solutions for all.
